In recent times a number of new hotels have sprung up around Dublin airport. Being new they are up to date and offer competitive prices. If you are on the way to or from Dublin Airport for an early flight or just want to start your trip early there’s some good choices and great prices.
If you are thinking of basing yourself at the airport you just need to remember all hotels are about a 20 minute taxi ride to Dublin city centre and public transport at present relies heavily on bus/coach.
The 3* Skylon Hotel is very good value and is half way between Dublin and the airport whilst near a suburb centre of Drumcondra. They have a fixed room rate at a reasonable price. Their rooms are mostly doubles & twins with a limited number suitable for triple occupancy. Breakfast is extra.

If you are looking for something just a hop, skip and a jump from the airport the Great Southern Hotel and Clarion Hotel are good choices with 4 star quality within the airport grounds proper.

Outside the airport grounds there is an array of excellent hotels, with brand new facilities and very competitive prices. At the moment you get free car parking and in some a courtesy coach, but generally not leisure facilities. Check the facilities before making your choice to get maximum convenience.
